Dr. Olivia Hart is a general dentist who offers holistic, biological dental care. With her 15 years of practice as a general dentist and 10-plus years of experience in providing biological dental care, Dr. Olivia Hart is a leading specialist in her field. In addition to her general dentistry expertise, Dr. Hart took thousands of hours of continued education in holistic dental care. Dr. Hart has been board-certified in Integrative Biological Dental Medicine by the American Board of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry (since 2017) and has been board-certified as a Naturopathic Dentist by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board (since 2018). She is also an Accredited Member and IAOMT SMART certified by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (since 2015); a Member of the International Association of Mercury-Safe Dentists; Member of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM); Member of the International Academy of Ceramic Implantology (IAOCI); and Member of the Slow Dentistry Global Network, among others; all part of holistic dentistry and biological dental care that Dr. Hart embraces, and offers to her patients.

Dr. Hart grew up around dentists—her grandparents both worked in the dental profession, inspiring her at an early age to pursue the practice of helping patients achieve wellness and comfort through healthy oral hygiene. After receiving her master’s degree in linguistics, which taught her the importance of communication and education, she traveled the world for several years, coming to understand the value and impact of biological medicine. She brings all of this information and experience to her dental practice in Glen Allen, VA.

She followed up her master’s with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Cum Laude) and a Doctorate in Dentistry (with honors) from Virginia Commonwealth University. She’s also completed a doctorate program in naturopathy, giving her the skills necessary to bring a comprehensive, biological dental care approach to her work.

Dr. Hart constantly expands her knowledge in biological dentistry by taking continued education courses and training that benefit her patients.
